What you get

Sooooo there are an ass ton of wedding planners/coordinators out there, what makes me different?  Oh honey there are so many many things.  For starters I’m a remote virtual planner, and my alternative creative background is worlds different then your typical planner.  But if you have to get down to the very core of it:

I have your best interests at heart

More traditional planners have built relationships with other wedding vendors.  This has MANY good sides.  They have a built in repertoire of people that they work well with, and can usually get you a deal.  The downside is that often times your wedding has to cater itself to the planner, not the other way around.  Someone that specializes in rustic out of the way chalets is going to be dumbfounded when asked to find an underground punk club kind of feel.  Plus, on occasion, a planner gets kick backs if they work with the same vendors.  There’ll be none of that with me.  I have plenty of contacts in the wedding world, but they come from word of mouth, relationships built on mutual respect for their work, if I suggest someone for you it’s because I think they’ll be a good fit.    This applies to the rest of your wedding too, I get what you want and need.  The END.

Also, my focus is on the couple.  My clients don’t come to me because I do a certain kind of wedding (I do ALL kinds of weddings), because I’m local (I travel), or because I have great rates (That part is true).  They come to me because my focus is that my couples are happy, and enjoying as much of the process as they can.  I have been known to forbid wedding talk with clients when they get too obsessed and start fighting amongst themselves, instead encouraging them to spend some time together focusing on why they love each other and want to get married in the first place.  I am my clients’ greatest fan, and will take on whatever I need to in order to remove the stress from the rigors of planning.
